Greetings and welcome to The Shimmer! We hope you're excited for horror and the pleasant experience of bonding with your fellow explorers! But before we head off into what definitely isn't certain doom, let's get to know each other!
Feel free to use this post to introduce yourselves as players and the wonderful characters you're bringing in for this adventure! Gush about your canons, your characters, how much everyone is going to suffer, whatever! You can leave your contact information as well, so everyone can stay up to date on what their expedition buddies are up to!
It also might be prudent to get to know your factionmates and sort out what your characters have been up to, if anything! This is not required, but it's definitely something you can do if you so choose!

HELLO FRIENDS, I AM RAN HERE, LATE WITH STARBUCKS. STARYUBUCKS. For I am here with Faba from Pokemon Special! You may recognize Faba from Pokemon Sun and Moon the games, but in case you're not... Faba is the extremely self-important Branch Chief of the Aether Foundation, an organization dedicated to Pokemon conservation. Think of it like the world's most expensive wildlife rehab center, except all the animals have superpowers (and some are, like, living piles of sludge or something). Anyway Faba is definitely not up to anything shady at all in this completely spotless, totally not corrupt organization, and definitely didn't have a hand in fucked up genetic experiments! Also, he's definitely not successful blogger F, a Branch Chief working in Alola.
(he definitely is all of those things.)
Anyway, if you're familiar with Pokemon Sun and Moon but aren't familiar with Special, he's all of the above, but even more of a piece of shit! Fortunately all his Pokemon will be stuck in their Pokeballs for the duration of The Shimmer so he can't have his Hypno torture you for not using his proper title, but. Who decided this man needed a gun and knives.
Anyhow I know all of you I'd say but if you don't have me added I'm at
WHOOPS I FORGOT TO MENTION, he's a researcher with the government faction. He's probably been spending a lot of his time blogging, though he does show up to basic training and such. Factionmates have probably also seen his Pokemon, which are Hypno, Claydol, and Bruxish. Hypno is the one that's out most often and it's a creepy asshole.
